Ananya Megotia. I'm a painter based in Leeds, working mostly in oil, on canvas and small board.

Are reimagined collection of an another space made by revisiting the places and people in my memory.

05 MY PROCESS

Thin layers of oil, built up and taken back. What I remove is still in there somewhere. As the colour builds, a figure or an object often surfaces that I didn't plan. I follow it, and it decides the rest of the painting.
